Does anyone know where to get the black painted sheet metal holster clip? I've seen them before as a part of the strap bracket assembly for fire extinguishers mounted to round structural posts in retail stores. All help much needed.
A similar question is how the Klingon disruptors were mounted on costumes...
That's very simple! I thought it was some sort of spring-loaded doohickey?
Looks like a money clip to me; I use to have one just like that . Here is one similar:
Only Scottie likes Doohickey's. Klingons called these Khhhhhhhhhhhhhhos
With the hole drilled in it. Looks like a garage door opener for you remote on you visor
Watching "Errand of Mercy" today (first appearance of Klingons, as I recall), I spied the fancy spring-loaded holsters that I remembered...as I recall also on display somewhere...at some time...
Here is Two more from Karl aka (Phase Pistol)
Dave there's a detailed photo of the first Klingon belt in "The Art of Star Trek" p38. The decorative buckle is a piece of painted air bubble packing material.
There is a spring on the holster for the disruptor.
You can see one in the second photo just above.
^ Sure but if you've got the book it's worthwhile to study the photo of the original screen used Klingon belt.
I'd imagine Dave has this book and probably many other fleet members so I wanted to share where to find a nice photo of it.
I never would have thought Klingon parents would wrap their children in bubble wrap for so long.
You mean disrupter , the agonizer is the little pain device.
