Don’t want to be one of those people who only post pleas for help.
While I was searching for available Mirror daggers, I discovered how very few decent ones were actually out there. The ebay 3D print or resin ones are all pretty terrible - why does everyone make blades with beveled edges? Don’t have a 3D printer myself - what to do?
Looking at images from a few years ago of an original on display, it occurred to me that the handle was actually wood. I’ve never seen anyone make one that way. So, I decided I’d give it a try. A couple of hours in, I decided, heck, I’ll make the whole darn thing out of wood. So, here’s my unpainted Mirror dagger after 6 hours or so of cutting, dremeling, and sanding.
I know it’s far from perfect, but I like the fact that the handle is actually made from what they used on the original. And no beveled edges! LOL
