Thanks to having a heated workshop now I have cracked into my first project there. I can now officially report back my thoughts on cut vs no cut.
I got in a cut back for the 115 last week.
The cut back is a much better look and if you are patient and cut carefully leaving a little more to the back than instrucitons it fits super tight and like a glove. Much better than the slide on. The sides taper so much nicer to the plane of the edge of the chaire. Also the back sits at a better height IMHO.
I think the slide on is a great option that Ralph provides for those who do not want to or don’t have the skills to cut the chair.
However, hands down cutting gives the better look and the better function.
I would also like to say that Ralph’s new triangles are amazing. They are contoured to the chair back. OMG these are so good. Thank you Ralph for these and all the instructions and support.
