How very odd. When you click on the link to the ebay auction, it says it was sold for $929 but I was watching this prop and it had a “buy it now” price of $698 just before the auction ended and that was the price it sold for. There was no bidding on it. I wonder why it sold for so much more when it only had the buy it now option for $698?
Also, I was the one that informed the seller that that prop was not Janeway’s prop, but Kes’s prop. He originally had it listed as Janeway’s. I told him that “JEN” is written on the back, not “JAN” like he had previously thought. JEN for Jennifer Lien, of course. Also, you can see from the closeup that Janeway’s phase discriminator has little bumps where the two metal pieces meet while the one listed has lines cut there into the metal.
