i just saw, that clear padds were used in nemesis... but not as on voyager in a round design...
but i didnt find a scene in the movie of using it.... i only think, in this scene its on picards table.
but its sooooooo small, so the measurements in the internet can be right, which say:
Yes, they were made by Chris Avilla. There is a good look at one of them in the dvd extra features photo gallery.
ok, can you made a upload and sent me this extra?
and which measurement is correct?
and also only this small scene, where they where used?
Zredthunder on this forum owns the original.
ok, but cm not mm, thats far to small then...
but on picars desk it looks a lotsmaller, also smaller then the big isolinear block on desk
I own it and I will see if I can get to it and measure.
my PADD is 6" x 4" x .25" in size.
It is 10 3/8" x 5 7/8".
ok i see, there where to different versions?
one 10 3/8" x 5 7/8".and 6" x 4" x .25"
but where in the movie where they used, i only saw one on the desk photo above i post...
I only own one original so I cant tell you the sizes of the others but I doubt they varied that much. They were made for Insurrection I believe and used in Nemesis as well but I couldnt tell you where...
yes, thank you then i will see star trek Insurrection today to find out where
Don't be upset if you don't see any of them. I have watched movies and episodes a dozen or more times, until I see a prop I'm looking for.
yeah but in nemesis i found it
we will see, i will post a photo if i find it....
do you have also a blog where i can see the other originals, which you own?
No blog...most of my collection is here: https://www.yourprops.com/user/zredthunder
so i made now a custom padd of the clear padd :)
Here are the ones I made. I saw from photos that you have already copied some of the designs, including putting my birthday on yours. Good ole makers marks
I really like your display stands.
At least I'm assuming these PADDs that I saw on eBay are yours.
9482 (September 4, 1982), is my Birthday. I incorporate it into lots of my props.
Also my Birthday can be found in the graphics, because I recreated them. LOL.
Yes yes, credit where it's due. Dietrich built the original graphic files for the PADDs. Seems like so long ago now. Lucky for me, @Cmdr.Kerner (and @trekme - on the iso chip project) share my OCD tendencies and were great sports through tons and tons of revisions on the artwork.
