Though I'm not a huge fan of DS9 because of how dark it goes in the final seasons (which feels very non-Roddenberry to me), it have some amazing props. The introduction of the Bajoran and Cardassian and Ferengi stuff opened up all sorts of forms of creativity for the production designers that was really rewarding to see. The orb case and Ferengi book are the prime cases in point, two beautiful objects that look traditionally hand-crafted. DS9 was just teeming with such objects. Other than the Naiskos, Horga'hn, and Stone of Gol, we don't see much of this kind of thing in TNG.
