Getting there. Since I ran out of glue which was stupid because I was at the store yesterday, I continued on with the one viewer I’ve been working. I rounded the corners as well as I can tell without priming and worked on mounting the light panel. I bought the panels weeks ago at the same time I bought the VOY viewer panels and now came the fitting. It was a mixed blessing as I needed to Dremel away at three of the blocks I’d printed and make two holes in the panel, but the result was good with one more support block to print.
Two of the modified blocks.
The screen panels just laid in place for test fitting. The white area left showing will have 1/8" acrylic glued to the inside which will add strength and form the switch panel.
The light panel resting on the three existing mounts.
And the part being printed to support the one floating corner.
Printed now and one glued on. The light panel is nicely held in place and easily removable.
