Doofus. Thank you 10x over. I get many a nasty message on ebay and YouTube telling me that my work looks like crap ESPECIALLY when I show museum recreations like; the Asherman P1 or, some of the earlier P2 mid grades as inspired by Paul Allen's Zolar-EMP/MoPOP P2.
At present I am on another set of new tooling that pretty much exactly replicates the mid grade nozzle from The West Coast Collector's photo's (Paul Allen's nozzle has a skip-track on the straight knurl and I decided not to try reproducing that). The difficult detail on a mid grade P2 nozzle is the extreme low profile of the straight knurl area in relation to the flats.
Much of the public seems to want an antiseptic version of the remaining artifacts. I find those harder to complete than the museum replicas because I too can be driven to the edge by the smallest flaw.
