Has anyone heard that something may have happened to Greg Schnitzer?
I am trying to confirm, news is that he has passed.
It is confirmed, Greg Has passed.
Very sorry to hear this. I did not know him personally, but have appreciated his work and insights many times over the years that I’ve known of him. My sincerest condolences to all his friends and family.
Oh, I am very sorry to hear this. Condolences to his friends here and family.
Wow, too young to go, I didn’t know him but have read many posts by him and enjoyed his numerous contributions. My prayers to his family and friends.
Greg was such a giving person and knowledgeable Trek fan – I am at a loss for words. We are all indebted to him for his “eagle eye” spotting Trek props in any frame of TOS. Greg’s encyclopedic knowledge was a tremendous benefit to New Voyages and also to Star Trek Continues.
Oh man, I’m so sorry to hear that. God speed, Greg.
Rest in peace, Greg. I never met him in person, but he was always as helpful as he could be on the forums. His love of Trek was always apparent.
Sorry to hear this…RIP Greg.
Condolences to his family and friends.
I know he had been in poor health, but still this is awful to hear. He was a great friend to me and many of us here. He and shall be enormously missed.
Thanks for letting us know @pielock373.
Sorry to hear this. My condolences to his family and friends.
I am so sorry to hear of this. His knowledge was amazing on TOS. God speed Greg. Condolences to family and friends.
I’m so saddened to hear this. Again, like many here, I have not met him, but have had many contacts with him over the years. Great guy. He will be missed.
The biggest shame was he was never able to come up and see the latest interation of the Star Trek sets in Ticonderoga. I know he really wanted to but his kidney issues kept him from being mobile enough to be able to pull it off. Greg you and your encyclopedic knowledge of props will be missed!
Oh my goodness, I’m so saddened by this. Rest in peace buddy.
I had the good fortune to meet Greg several years ago at a con in Maryland. He gave a talk on prop collecting. Very nice guy with a tremendous passion for the hobby. He will be missed.
I did not know him but I recognize his name from posts, my sincerest condolences to his friends and family.
