Ok, I believe I may have found the original PCB used in the doctors mobile emitter, and if I am right, there is a certain irony to it. I'd love to have your thougjts on this, and perhaps some of you who are good with photoshop may be able to render a mock up image for us to "test" my theory. The doctors mobile emitter and the relativity tricorder were both 29th century tech. We know the original relativity tricorder was made from an Oregon Scientific travel clock. Below is a picture of the lower part of the PCB from within one of those clocks. Notice how there is a row of contacts running along the lower edge and tracks running up from them? I had a sticker graphic for an emitter which I was going to use in my scratch build, and it had a very similar pattern to the one on the PCB from the travel clock. Also, from images I have seen online, the pattern generally accepted and used in the holoemitters that people have built share this common feature of a line of contacts along the lower edge with track running up from them. What do you all think? The emitter next to the PCB below is a work in progress but I hope to use the PCB I have in place of the sticker.
