The reason many of this are on this site is because we're obsessive perfectionists who want to get stuff right. Otherwise, we'd just buy Diamond Select toys and call it a day. I have a number of projects like this, where I'm at like 95% in my models or designs but I know I can still make it better. In many of those cases, I hesitate to share designs before they're finished because a) folks might not read through the whole thread and end up using a file that I consider to be not accurate and b) I'd simply be embarrassed to publish something that I know isn't quite right and have people think it's representative of my work. I realize that at some level this rationale may be folly, but I do certainly sympathize with the impulse. On this site, we strongly encourage folks to share their designs, CAD files, information, etc., so that we can all make our work better together collaboratively, but I would suggest that we should also be cordial and patient about it, letting folks share designs on their own timeline, allowing them to hold back when they feel that something isn't quiet yet ready to share (especially when they've already said they intend to share it at some point). This is just my view, for whatever it's worth.
