I was Googling around looking at TWOK phasers and a pic came up of this wrist comm. The funny thing is, I think it was mine that I sold a long time ago.
If memory serves it was an old Lincoln Enterprises comm that I jazzed up a bit. I remember searching around for that little bunch of mini-switches on the side, I ended up ordering them from DigiKey. I was so happy because they actually switched on and off. I also drilled out the resin screws on each side and replaced them with real screws, as can be seen in the pic. But the kicker for me is the dark gray paint on the bottom section of the comm. I was going to paint the entire comm black, which I believe is screen-accurate, but I had bought a can of dark gray Plastikote paint that I wanted to use on a ST-III phaser but decided it was too dark. So I used it on the comm instead, and I thought it really looked sharp.
It looks like someone added a new wrist band to it, and a very nice one at that.
Anyway, I could be way off base with this, but I’m 99% sure that was one that I owned, but eventually sold when I ran into some major money problems. Pretty funny to see it again…
