I know that some of you are like me in that you like finding found objects from Star Trek, whether you intend to use them as a prop, or not. Some are just nice household objects that you'd use for their real-world purpose.
I actually researched and found out what this item was before I realized the answer was right there in an auction listing. So far, I can find little to no difference between what the show used over a decade ago, and what is still being sold brand new today. So, they're readily available in perfect condition. But good deals can be found on the secondary market as well.

Only example I've seen from the show appears to be a joke board that wasn't filmed:
The product labels say either Umbra or Loft; sold through Home Depot, Crate & Barrel, The Container Store, etc. Loft is an Umbra store brand.
And there's also a 5" x 21" model:
Mostly they appear to have a nickel/silver finish like on the show. They also come in white, and I have seen bronze/brown finishes as well.
These are obviously useful for their original purpose, but they can also be dressed as props from Enterprise. This might appeal to anyone who likes paper and graphic arts props. I'll document the screen-used pieces that I can find below.
