Star Trek: Enterprise Orion “Neurolytic Restraints” with hero Electronic Remote Activator prop
Original props as featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Borderland” (2005): The Enterprise crew needs the help of a renegade geneticist, Arik Soong (Brent Spiner), to apprehend a group of his Augments that have taken over a Klingon Bird of Prey attempting to start a war between the Klingons and Earth.
"A neurolytic restraint was a device used by the Orion Syndicate to ensure obedience in slaves prior to their purchase. The restraint operated by inducing convulsive seizures in the subject through use of a remote control, and was fatal if the subject traveled beyond a specified radius.
In 2154, nine personnel from Enterprise NX-01 were kidnapped by the Orions and taken to a processing station on Verex III, where they were outfitted with neurolytic restraints as they were being prepared to be auctioned off. Captain Archer purchased Ensign Jeffrey Pierce, and bribed one of the guards to leave the restraint on. After Pierce was returned to Enterprise, Commander Tucker was able to study the restraint and develop a countermeasure against it. Returning to the processing station, Archer disabled all of the restraints, causing mass confusion as the slaves tried to escape, and allowing Archer to rescue his people." - Memory Alpha
The Neural Restraints are painted silver metallic, with black detailing and metal wire side-mounted ‘pins’ intended to appear as though they are attached to the skin of the wearer. They are worn on the side of the neck of the slaves as shown in the photos.
The electronic handheld remote prop device “activates” the wearers restraints to immediately induce incapacitating pain to anyone wearing one of them.
The electronic activator is created in molded resin, with metal screw details, and flashing yellow lights - electronics are activated by pressing a button on the side. This prop is powered by two internally mounted V392 sized batteries. Unlike many Star Trek electronic props, the lights will continue to flash at intervals when activated and remain so, until the button is pressed again “deactivating” it.
This prop remote is purposely painted to appear distressed in a metallic silver to match the design of the Orion slavers.
The remote electronic activator device measures approx. 3 X 2 X 0.5 inches and the restraints themselves measures approx. 1.5 X 1.75 X .60 inches each.
Associated with signed original Certificate Of Authenticity and notarizable Letter Of Provenance.

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “NEUROLYTIC RESTRAINT – BORDERLAND” PROP LOT
A pair of small cast resin props featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Borderland” wherein members of the “Enterprise NX-01” crew like “T’Pol” (Jolene Blalock) are beamed onto ‘Orion’ starships and sold in a slave market. While in cages, the crewmembers are made to wear “neurolytic restraints” which cause them extreme agony if the impending slaves do anything out of line. These props are painted metallic silver with black painted details and metal wire side mounted ‘pins’ meant to appear as though they have punctured and grasped the skin of the wearer (the items appeared on the side of the neck of the characters in the episode). The item measures approx. 1.5 X 1.75 X .60 inches.
