A few months ago I was able to score an old can of Krylon Dove Gray off eBay. I'm using it for the first time on the Dustbuster phaser build. Unfortunately, when I go to spray it the paint comes out in "squirts" (very direct streams) rather than the typical aerosol spray/mist.
There's plenty of paint left in the can, and the shaker ball moves about freely. I shook the can for a for several minutes before the first use and for about a minute prior to subsequent tests. I've tried heating the can up by placing it in a large bowl of hot tap water for ~10 minutes. And again after letting it sit outside in high 50 - low 60 degree F weather for several hours. Both yielded the same results.
This is my first time dealing with old spray paint. I've googled around a bit, which prompted the aforementioned tests. I was hoping someone here has run into something similar and could give me some guidance. Or at least tell me all hope is lost and to toss the old can of paint
Thanks for the help!
