I very much enjoyed the addition scenes that didn't make it into the episodes. Also the "takes" that had goofed lines showing the actor's personalibies.
I was however disappointed that there wasn't a lot of material, it could have fit on one disc. Most of the disc is showing episodes that I already have on blue ray. Also I had no need for interviews of people not even related to the show turning part of the disc into opinion interviews on thier take on Star Trek?? Some of the early promotional shots show a warehouse size picture with film cans floor to ceiling? There has to be more... Is it Rod's intent to release future disc sets with material from other episodes?
I did very much enjoy interviews from the stars, writers and production people related to the show as well as the interview with the Okuda's, they are always a joy to listen to! Bill an Walter's interview were very fun to watch. Lastly the blue screen ship model footage was also great fun to watch! Cutting edge work back then, as Mr Spock would say "fascinating".
I'm glad I purchased it, I just wish it contained more cutting room floor footage and less worthless talky talk... My two cents for what it's worth.
