The acrylic beacon arrived and is a thing of beauty on its own.
Here's a photo of my rough parts mock up on a piece of foam core primed with an old Rustoleum #1967 Red Primer I had on hand "Work In Progress". I picked up a piece of red translucent acrylic to build this on and am first trying to determine best layout/placement before cutting the acrylic. The first set of measurements in this thread certainly don't look right, the second set look right to my eye so I cut the foam core and placed the switches using them as a reference but the beacon came with yet another set. I think I'd like to paint the acrylic because I believe the originals were painted, does anyone know a specific red paint that would be most accurate?
I should mention in case it's not obvious the intercom mock up is not flat on the mat, it's on risers about 2" to clear switches.
