I've wanted someone to do this for awhile, but what makes it's extra special is that it's coming after the Smithsonian restoration when there's even fresher data on the original. But, personally I've had three day-dream projects based on the 11-footer.
One would be a whole nacelle, mounted vertically off a truncated pylon. It could sit in the corner of a room with the lit dome for mood lighting.
Second option would be just the front part of the nacelle and dome, as a table-top display.
Third would be the bridge structure and central part of the saucer. for clarity, on the refit, it would be out to the line of the phaser emitters.
