The warp core begins...
Wow you were right SteveMind blown
They shoot in HD so the finish level has to be very good!
Fantastic, what a labor of love.
This is a trek fan dream come true! To be able to walk thru such screen accurate set and to take part helping to build them... Every Sunday I go up and pinch myself because I. Still don't believe I am walking the ships corridors!!
Navagation now has been upgraded with a row of screen accurate push bottons. The row of 8 clear bottons in the background. Thanks to a resent find of these vintage press to test buttons between Ed Mierecki and me. Ed donated these to the Navigation console. Mine will be going into the Microscope prop I'm building for STNV.
Looks Awesome Steve
Oh no! It's a Pielock infestation in the briefing room. Much more horrible then termites!
A bad day on the set for steve...the Kelvins are back!
Hal has taken over the Enterprise! Watched 2001 A Sace Odyssey this weekend on the Bridge.
"I'm sorry Mr Spock, I can't do that." That must have been cool.
HD Waaaa it was. Open the clamshell doors Hal
Just what do you think you're doing Steve?
Just upen the clamshell doors Hal.
Without your space helmet Steve, you'll find that rather difficult.
Due to a transporter malfunction we ended up with two wonderful 3D chess sets at New Voyages an Ed Mirecki (left) and a Steve Pielock (right). These will both be on display for the event in May. One will live in the Captain's quarters and the other in the Briefing room.
Ah, dueling chess sets. Cue the Deliverance music. I have one of Ed's, too. Now Kirk can practice waxing Spock in the privacy of his quarters, after a shower. Wait, is there a shower there?
Interestingly, we actually never saw a chess set in Kirk's quarters in Trek--although we did see it in Spock's quarters a couple of times.
(And I hope they spend most of their time safely locked away in a prop room.)
Note Steve's actual words "on display" in those locations for the event, not a shoot.
Wasn't their a chess match in Engineering during space seed. LOL
