I'll say you are! Looking really really nice there! You are certainly making way more headway than I am. You have some very nice contours on the grip, and I look forward to your next print.
And I think I'm almost ready.
looks really good, much beefier then the previous one.
That’s looking really good
@RollerGirl_TashaSkar, just out of curiosity, how much wider did you go on this one? I'm curious because I also went wider, and by a pretty significant margin. I think my first attempt was about 30 mm wide and my second attempt is coming in at 40 mm.
I think this one ended up being about 35mm, so about 1 1/2"
I'm going to have to make a test print to check the scale, though.
I have a couple test prints of my model in the works. Once the print comes out and things check out okay I'll link the download.
Thanks for the dimensions! I'm clocking in at 40 mm wide, so, I think it says something were within arms reach of each other. I look forward to seeing your test prints for more note comparing!
One more part to print.
Looks fantastic! ....would look even better from an SLA printer
Pardon my potato quality cellphone camera. It really doesn't take a picture worth a darn unless there is full on studio lighting. I am 80% happy with this, and this is how it fit together with 0 sanding. I'm going to be revisiting a few problem areas, but I am mostly pleased.
Nice looking print and design work.
A little off-topic but fun nonetheless; I got this off of shapeways.com a while back.
Oh that's cool! I'm hoping there will be a model kit of the Orville one of these days.
I love the ship and the extensive use of spiral staircases through out the ship.
And print complete! Now for sanding and paint.
Nice looking print! I can't wait to see how the sanding goes.
Looking great. Can't wait to see the finished piece. Width of piece looks good, BTW.
Did anyone see that plasma rifle in tonights episode!?!
