I did a test print yesterday, and while I am happy with how the two parts fit together (I am now at 3 out of 6 for things fitting together first try! mutters about the Orville blaster) I was a bit... generous with some of my dimensions, and I underestimated the thickness around the LEDs, but having the thing in my hand and looking at the pictures, unless our good doctors have freakishly long fingers... I need to make a few minor adjustments.
@EWilliams, per your suggestion I will leave the front end blank for the more screen accurate technique, though I may provide a less accurate more complete version in the future, for the folks who want the 3d printer to do all the fabricating so they have more time for sanding. Upside, leaving it blank means I have an obvious edge to stick to the build plate of my repli... I mean "Duplicator."
Oh, one other question... Would you all prefer a premade hole for the switch, if so, any particular switch you want me to make room for, or would you all rather poke your own holes? I hope to have a version of this up on my thingiverse later today.
