Sigh. I lately have so much sympathy for industrial and product designers.
I've been investigating getting my meditation lamp cast into brass. That has been no problem, but the more I looked at the screen captures and the molding master that I built from the same type of object as the original, the more I realized that the scale was slightly off. At approximately 21cm long, mine was a touch too big.
So in typical style for me of late, I decided to make a 3D model that was correct in every degree (as best as I could).

The size feels much more correct now. It is now 19cm long. I need a few proportion and size tweaks on the collar and the base, but I think this feels much closer. I'll get a new master either printed with a lot of hand finishing, which can then be molded in silicone to cast wax masters for use in lost-wax brass casting. Or I might just get it machined right into brass, whichever is cheaper. I'll post here when I get it all figured out.
Oh, and of course, I'll share the CAD files when I get them to a state that I think is correct.
