I mentioned Hornbach, because it's the only home supply market where I found it here. It could be possible that other markets are carrying it as well.
The displays are printed on photo paper, because the colors are much brighter than on normal copy paper and they are NOT glued on. Depending on the PADD you can easy interchange them by sliding to the side, top or bottom. So if you like to see another display, it's easy to replace it. It's very difficult to say how long I needed for one graphic, because I made them about 10 years ago. On my computer I've got a selection of about 50 different LCARS vector graphics to chose from.
Just a few years ago I had two PADDs from DS9 in my hands and the graphics were dull and peeling off.
The decals (silver and golden brushed alloy) on the sides and back are made from the original vinyl which I got from members of this forum. The other colors I've purchased in a hobby store in the next larger city and the single parts are cut with a profissional cutter and a steel ruler and with various scissors.
