Today would have been Greg Schnitzer’s 59th Birthday. He was such a friendly and giving individual, always willing to share details of his TOS prop research. I am pleased to know that his collection went to Ticonderoga. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
Sad indeed. Fifty nine is just too young.
I wish I could have met him, we only conversed via PM
a few times.
A notification popped up on my phone this morning from FB saying “wish Greg a happy birthday”… I got sad!
I treasure his ray generator!
He passed at 58. Today would have been his 59th birthday. Regardless, I agree with you that this is much too early. Our hobby is made better by his generosity.
R.I.P. Greg, I remember you Buddy
Didn’t know him personally… but any person who admires the Trek prop community as much as I’ve heard as him … is a friend of mine … You will be missed …
Gone too young, here’s a video with Greg that I was just watching yesterday. I’d found it at New Voyages Videos.
Such a font of information, I searched for a number of his post on the net and they were filled with wonderful details on props. Gone far too soon.
Greg was a kind sole; I really miss him and his depth of knowledge. (Keep) RIP(ing) dear friend!
