I’ve tried the 300. It’s okay. Need to order more.
What’s the difference with the other numbers? 300, 305, 310, 320, 321, 322
All the description look the same.
Pull up the data sheets and you’ll see the difference there. It’s mostly in terms of pot life and cure time. I think the difference between the 300 and 320 series is just the color (white vs off-white).
Work times, color of resin
What thy said. There is a general overview over the smooth cast series as a whole
On the product site, if you go way down to download technical data bulletin, you’ll get a pdf with a comparison between the products of a line.
Very good. I guess I’ll stick with 300.
I like 300 too. If you degass your resin, you’ll need more time, so the 305 is good for that.
If you do slushcasting, 65D is great. I also like 65D for thinner parts because it’s slightly flexible, so less likely to snap than 300.
I’ve used Smooth-Cast 325 myself - works very well with the So-Strong colored tints, as well as 325-mesh metal powders for cold casting. Definitely recommend degassing with a pressure pot, however.
